In February 2023, Tribonian Law Advisors (TLA), ij’s prestigious member firm in the United Arab Emirates, broadened its portfolio of client services with the establishment of a tax advisory practice. According to TLA’s Managing Partner Rindala Beydoun, this will ‘support our clients in managing CIT and VAT law requirements in the UAE, including tax assessment and analysis, tax planning and structuring, M&A taxation, ongoing tax compliance, tax filling and transfer pricing.'

Heading this new practice is Irfan Munawar, a seasoned Chartered Accountant who brings, along with more than 25 years of professional experience in this discipline, a deep knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, as well as transfer pricing in multiple jurisdictions.
