The law firm of Langseth Advokatfirma DA was established on 1 July 2001 and has been growing both in numbers of partners, associate attorneys and clients.
The company’s partners all have broad experience in the practice of law. We offer legal advice and in-court trial assistance to companies, organisations and private individuals within most key areas of the law. The company’s main objective is to offer its clients good and cost-efficient service with the personal attention of lawyers with specialist knowledge within the relevant area of the law.
The law firm currently consists of 15 lawyers (9 partners, 6 senior lawyers/assistant lawyers) and three administrative officers.

Labour law
Langseth Advokatfirma offers assistance to both employees and employers. We provide general advice in addition to pleading cases in court. Our work comprises everything from the preparation and negotiation of employment contracts, implementation of restructuring and workforce reductions, evaluation of various pension and incentive schemes, to issues relating to discharges and dismissals.
General assistance is provided in connection with hiring, employment contracts, staff regulations, acquisitions, discussions, termination of employment contracts, dismissals, negotiations and warnings. We offer our experience during the planning stage, the negotiation stage or in connection with the solving of conflicts.
Damages and Insurance Law
Langseth Advokatfirmas's damages and insurance team offers legal assistance to both individuals and companies with various assignments related to insurance issues, personal injuries and health-related matters.
This enables Langseth Advokatfirma to offer extensive experience in various issues related to torts and damages. In addition to assisting claimants with filing claims with insurance companies and trying compensation cases in the courts, we also provide legal assistance to businesses and self-employed clients when claims are filed against them.
We have special expertise and experience in issues concerning malpractice and other health-related matters.
Family, Inheritance and Probate Law
Langseth Advokatfirma’s family, inheritance and probate team offers legal assistance in connection with settlement of estates, distribution of estates, and other family matters.
In matters relating to family members, finding solutions that prevent contention is an important consideration. The aim of a great deal of our work is thus to prevent disputes, for example when preparing pre-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and wills.

The team has many years' experience as liquidators appointed by Oslo Probate and Bankruptcy Court.

We also have extensive experience in voluntary arrangements and debt settlement proceedings for companies as well as self-employed and private individuals.
